What is missing from the Roundup conversation here is that the target agent in roundup which kills the plant Glyphosate was first developed as a chelator. What it does is chelate the immune building elements out of the soil system. That being copper, zinc and manganese. So not only are we killing the weeds were dissembling the immune system of the soil. Also it was asked whats the alternative. Balancing the soil so to take the general vitality away that makes the weeds do well will get rid of the weeds naturally. For instance weeds will concentrate different elements in different concentrations. Usually they will show up when there is a deficiency or excess of a element that raises their general vitality. One more note one of the inert elements in Roundup polyethoxylated tallowamine, or POEA, was more deadly to human embryonic, placental and umbilical cord cells than the herbicide itself – a finding the researchers call “astonishing.”POEA is the sticking agent that takes roundup into the plant and does not need to be listed on the label since it not the target agent that kills the plant which is Glyphosate
