Auntie Mahealani Ventura spoke at an event in Lahaina on September 10th, 2011. Speaking about her role as part of the ad hoc Conciliation Commission, a civil society organization, that is registered by the United Nations department of economic and social affairs. Her kuleana (responsibility) is documenting and archiving instances of human rights violations and providing that data to governments, companies and people throughout the world.
